"Learning Train News" is published quarterly in the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Each issue contains 1 1/2 hours of self-instructional child care training. Providers may receive up to 6 clock hour of self-instructional training from "Learning Train News" each year. The purpose is to help children understand that books are written by people and they too can write wonderful books. "What is inside?". Exercise reasoning and early science skills with this Holiday Make a Book project. "Fall for Color". Take a walk with your child and discover the beauty in fall colors. Then you and your child can Make a Book to share the experience. "My Spooky Number Book" is a great way to introduce or review the numbers.
